imagePencil to paper
Or fingers to screen
Thoughts from the mind in rhyme tryn’ chasing a dream
No music just thoughts and mumbles
A slow walk on the humble
With no force speak bedazzlement
Monetize shirts with Wows
Arabic letter And what I just said now
Extravagant nothings Im waiting for a punch line
No scratch my past time is thinking up raps In no time
My co signs’ my brother and co sansThat find flows whisking in tap
Green light any leads to the paper if that
In fact it’s light work but feelings they might jerk
Whip lash this fit fast when life and your dreams clash
Back to A B see yourself out of the sentence
A click of speakers speaking nothing just ruined my entrance
Foolish ambitions to be seen done skewed my intentions
And now my attemptin’ is shamed with every ounce of attention
Started from scratch
Thoughts keeping me company
No beats just flows so every hold is comforta’bly placed
With or without space gasp repeat it again
Conceited the ends for immaculate feats with pen
Poisonous choices so the ink is like lead to the voiceless
Over time losing they mind With def tones
Rest on the best poems blown away by the next drone
Lying on crept chrome stimulated by sex moans
Orchestrated in restrooms flushing a flesh wound.
Wash your hands wet paper or dry
Low self esteem your life sound better with lies
From scratch with no pretense
Like how did i get to the precinct ?
21 taps on them bars was vocally decent
Jump the street get pumped by heat
Thats why everybody get mad when the truth live leak.
For scratch though so everybody making a play
Go out of they way to tell like that’s really okay.
You over exaggerate
The audience masticate food for thought
Eat it up till the flow just evaporate.

I’m back

In Memorial

Lobby my democracy
Pitch it and watch it ground off
Polls say elections is even until they round off
Boots on the ground and bullets fly but what for?
For some lie we rush shores and sons die with the lost cause
Excuse me but the trauma’s finally setting in.
Tears pouring for post mortem brothers in camo skin
Released no debrief just Xanax and these sheets of discharge
Blasts from exhaust pipes and I’m back in the war
With my back to the wall and don’t dare close a door
Trip wire tracing the floor rage breaking out like a claymore
Facing these racists while my homegirls facing these rapists
Commanding officers cover the wrinkles like a facelift
I thought I needed training my education was Basic
But since I got the Boot every thought of serving is hatred
I’m camping the recruiter like maybe I need another tour
New branch and comradery follow me to another war
Ageless nights, my rifle and the objective
Death or victory so there’s no way that I’ll be bested
my memorial as we lose another brother in arms to the haunting of exactly what in war we do.
And you don’t appreciate the sacrifice…
For every ounce of your Freedom I had to pay the price
Coward Politicians with audacity to gripe
But never offer their children up to sacrifice they life.
Lobby my democracy
Say they do it in memory
Now the highest bidder is telling me where the enemy resides
And face it If I survive then may be I’ll go and hide ‘mongst the civilians enjoying all the rights
I protect with my life on the frontline
In Memorial for my Veterans one time.

Pandora’s Box

Pandora’s Box had a name

One eyed monster

Power up your future to play what the world has come ta

Anything you say will be monitored and confronted

Undertones in policy making may get you hunted

Neuronal growth stunted

Spiritual development’s irrelevant as “religion is for the least intelligent”

Propaganda stating belligerent exclamations

Out of context

But these sound bytes’ for shock and awe not for substance

Besides most minds consist of sterner stuff

Punks step up like cloned warriors and burners bust

Bullets touch gracefully upside but look at the upside if you die

Then you may rise as martyr in the after-life.

Hook up a capture card to catch the lie

All in one

Life Death and life again in a black box go get you one

All black everything with a white peephole

That seep souls like vacuums snatching children up out a mothers’ womb

Life Death and life again in a black box with a blinder as a binding covenant

The government will send their Black Ops if you dare see

Freedom outside of these the black spots

Or the order in the heavens so present your back drops

Diagonal to the ground like how most infants crown flesh plated rings of fire when coming out of a mother’s womb.

They lay you flat and bury you inside an earthly tomb.

But who will pray over your funeral?

Pandora’s Box

Killing you daily
Armed excuses
Shooters elusive
People deduce its police cover up
Media drugging up the uppercrust with up and ups
Dow Jones raised
Therefore don’t raise minimum wage
So express outrage get locked up in a cage.
News portray nonviolence as riots
Food binging as diets
Slaves of desire labeled as free
Forced capitalism came to liberate me
Just incinerate your soul and enjoy paradise in this life
It wont last but live it in the light
Of a dark flame spooning perversity in your heart
Stained tart from shared saliva crooning out the coonery
Soon to be what the next up feel as being so real
Scholars for dollars spotted signing distribution deals
Hancocking indoctrination and sharecropping the population for cogs in the wheel
Riding downhill high off an E-pill
In ecstasy professionally appointed ministers uh dis Eevil.

Seed sealed in soil by a kaffir
Who turns into a muflihun when harvesting his pasture
Similar so who denies truth is mukathib
Who no longer can hide that he knew well when he is asked
On the day of transactions
Reaping what you sow
So woe on the one who on that day will be exposed.

Syrian Hajj

What if all the Syrian fighters stopped and went to Hajj?
‘exchanged all their arms for garments in ihram
Shelled out buildings vacant
Children at the border patient waiting for close relations to take them
Singly Facing the qiblah as one nation holding only one station
Slave of Allah
No raids and raising Hell in the desert sun no raging
Peace being spread in a cadence
till celebration of Eid And Sacrificing Hady
Zakat paid so lots made for the poor and big plates at the orphan’s door
Wish I could say labbayk
Allahuma labbayk
When the Syrians come together for Allah the Great!
And whatever hate
Is for Allah’s sake
Make Tawaf with a squad in masjid al haraam
no alarm from the black stone to Ibrahim’s maqam
Can you imagine when the stones get thrown?
At Arafat they pray for the prone back home
The Lone graves and the mass ditches
Soldiers cry reciting Suratul Buruj giving up they riches.
Fear the statement of Allah
So everybody crying making sincere taubah on yawmul Arafat.
Keeping the Eid just Salaam and tears
No fear of government to tear what Allah brings near.

To aim higher

Put your money up
Buy abandoned Newark buildings
Turn it to a private school for under priv’ledged children
Put your dollars in a pot
Buy a vacant lot
And grow a garden make urban ghettoes a staple crop
Make the dope block where hustlers and pimps meet
Bazaar where the family ends meet
Instead of block parties with stages for djays
put a grand scale on the stage
Pray…Then weigh
Make lady liberty stand up for her rep
And put justice and equality over debt
Push intellectual property in step with the market of the ghetto that you target then we’re set
I guess …That’s all wishful thinking
Flip the world round the bottom to the top like sinking
But we’re all bound
For death and dirt my soul’s not for hire
Take time not wasting my mind with these liars
They call me to the fire
Through all of my desires
I remember the Wrath
And then I just retire
You could have all I gasp at
And ask how much?
Model citizens are priceless
Especially when righteous
And so are … Witnesses
Picture this
Even in the dark abyss
There will always be witnesses
Can’t turn out the lights on the light giver
When He feel it’s right He get right witcha
What’ll hit will never miss ya

Poetic Reflection

Poems written like stones thrown at the sinner
Pelted rocks swoon like hail falling in winter
Hard to walk the road with the party on the side
Like Signs to veer off where goodness don’t coincide
Rather rest under a tree than a motel
All the Amenities accompany fools to hell
May God forgive me for tiring on the path
I got enough to stretch out a breath before I pass

Patriotic Remembrance

I won’t forget Betsy Ross Or The Civil War
Indian American wars from 1775 to 1924
I wont forget the two fifths dog clause , Jim Crow laws and being stolen off of Africa’s shores
white sheets that don’t mean peace lifting a burning cross
Cell bars and the Scottsborough boys
I won’t forget the Harlem Renaissance or WEB DuBois
Marcus Garvey and all the back to Africa ploys
That’s just for the rhyme its better than saying noise
So I won’t forget He was deported and ignored
I wont forget Noble Drew Ali and mysticism
Or the Nation of Islam even with that false religion
That Elijah taught and learned from Farrad Muhammad
Who associated with Moors temple of science correspondents
I won’t forget Langston Hughes, Hurston or Countee Cullen
A Phillip Randolph wasn’t a chump all of a sudden
when it came to unionizing black brothers called George
Formers slaves paid pennies to do another’s chores.
I won’t forget chain gangs and lynchings
Land grabs and gold rush biddings
Segregation and the old Christian religion
I won’t forget
Medgar Evers ,Malcolm X or King
Emmett Till, who whistled when his freedom wouldn’t ring
I wont forget freedom riders, howard zinn or the A Bomb
Heroin, Asian Orange , the Vietnam War or Napalm
I won’t forget black wall street in oklahoma
may 31st the memorial’s no misnomer
I won’t forget the pacific my Grandfather fought that in World War II
Before Hiroshima blew
I won’t forget the Korean war Or Tuskeegee Airmen
Pearl Harbor or Mississippi tears trailing
My Cherokee ancestry
Or the massacre at Wounded knee
Forgetting’s what we usually
But I won’t forget 9/11
And the questions on whether the city pulled Building 7
I won’t forget Mohammad Hamdani a first responder
Who on the memorial wall was placed as loosely part of
That tragic event I won’t forget my Aunt wheezing
On the Brooklyn Bridge escaping asbestos breathing
I won’t forget the innocent soldiers who died in Iraq
Fighting people who had nothing to do with that
I won’t forget the women deployed just to come back
Hushed rape victims due to superior slack
Of commanding officers acting as if it didn’t
And when asked about it they chalk it up to forgetting
I won’t forget post traumatic stress
The families it effects I wont forget all the homeless vets
I won’t forget the soldiers who committed suicide
Or the nightmares and flashbacks of those still alive
I won’t forget defending my brothers who got deployed
I won’t forget the comments in college got me annoyed
I won’t forget the work that we did to increase peace
In Memorial and high school the North and South meet
I won’t forget explaining Islam and what it wasn’t
Some say that it condones terrorism but it doesn’t
I wont forget the world trade center as a kid
Only for memories too bad that I can’t relive
I won’t forget New York police and stop and frisk
And all the young blacks Men that got killed cause of it
I won’t forget Amadou, Sean Bell or Ramarley
Religious and racial discrimination and where are we?
I won’t forget The sikhs abused due to their turbans
Or all the curious people that ended up converting
I won’t forget 9/11
That etched us all in history
Let’s not make that day an excuse for another’s misery.

Pigs, Projects and Us

We were penned like pigs
Projects where we live
A project for the Pigs
To get us all in the Pen
Got us trained with the schools
Psychological tools
Bells and lines gray paint in the cafeteria too
So when we concentrate again
We reverse from being men
To the children we were back when
Except fights today end lives
A child can forgive and make ties more suitable to survive
Even in a world of lies!
But we die from deep Stabs from knives
And atrocious acts brutalize the mind where there’s no turning back
But if you fear God
Then structure your life with time off
To worship the Lord
Your eyes see different than what is set before
Project of palaces
In store for those seek knowledge just
To get close to God and not to point out the obvious
Renewed goal will warrant a review of the soul
And what holds you back from applying what you know
So self reflection and prayer become protection
Silence is gold a currency squandered when guessing
Bankrolled with I don’t know
Smiling’s a charitable expression
